Insomnia is the most common sleep complaint at any age.
A good night's sleep is as important as breathing and eating. Most adults require about 7 to 8 hours of
sleep per night to perform their best cognitively. If you are one of the 60 % of the population that has
experienced insomnia at one point in your life, you know how disruptive it can be.
You may have insomnia if it takes you 30 to 45 minutes to fall asleep, if you wake up throughout the night,
if you wake up feeling tired or if you wake up early and can't fall back to sleep. If you have trouble falling
asleep night after night, or if you always feel tired the next day, than you may have a sleep disorder and should
see a physician.
